THE DOG TRAINING COMPANY offers a variety of training courses as well as personal consultations, which are open to all dogs, regardless of breed or age. Instructors are highly qualified and experienced in many aspects of dog training and behaviour. Unlike some trainers and training organisations we NEVER use punitive measures. For example choke chains are banned by THE DOG TRAINING COMPANY. Clients are offered alternative, less harmful methods which do not suppress the dog's behaviour and cause no pain. All training methods are accordance with the Code of Practice of APDT UK

THE DOG TRAINING COMPANY is based in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, offering training and behavioural advice to clients from all over the country. Instructors from THE DOG TRAINING COMPANY often accept invitations to hold workshops on a variety of specialist dog related subjects throughout the UK.

All classes are designed to be non-competitive and to be as practical as possible. Owners may complete courses to whatever level they wish. Completion of all the courses will form an excellent foundation for those wishing to move on and perhaps compete at a higher level in the dog training world.
